After I had grieved for nearly three years, learning many lessons about relying on God even in the hardest circumstances, God sent another helpmate, Dennis. Here’s what he told me:
“You were Beaver’s ‘Angel,’ so I would like to call you ‘Sunshine Cowgirl.’ You love to sing ‘You Are My Sunshine’ and bring sunshine to people, and you love cows.” He actually told me he would get me a cow if I married him! I think that was the hook, LOL.
Now, together, we strive to bring the love and joy of God into the lives of people who are struggling with hurt and distress, to assure them of the truth of Romans 8:28, as made abundantly clear in our own lives. May you find the reality of God’s presence in your own life.
